A fine and rare C Farlow & Co 6 foot 8 inch two piece split cane fly rod presented in great condition. With hardwood reel seat, cork handle, brass up-locking reel fittings, crimson whippings and makers original cloth bag. Brass end cap stamped "6303" and C Farlow & Co London and bearing makers transfer on the butt section of the rod. Fittings are correct and both sections are straight and true. This rod has been professional refurbished and is suitable to #3/4 rated lines. A superb brook / grayling rod.

A vintage split cane 7 foot spinning rod by the world famous C. Farlow & Co. Ltd., London. It has agate lined rings, bronzed brass joints and alloy reel fittings. It is complete with original bag and stopper. This rod is in very good to excellent original condition, full length, all whippings and rings in first class order, nearly 100% bronzing remaining. The cork handle and bag are a little age stained but undamaged. There is a tiny dent to the butt piece by the rubber button. A very small amount of varnish is starting to flake off two of the whippings.
