A nice 12 foot split cane float rod from the Bromley rod maker, Modern Arms Company Limited - MARCO with their "Elasticane" logo in very nice condition. With black whippings and intermediates, agate butt and tip rings and a shaped cork handle with rubber butt cap.

12 ft Split cane rod by Modern Arms Co. Ltd.(MARCO). This rod is in excellent condition having only had little use. All original whippings and rod rings all closely whipped in black. Has cork and hard wood ferrule protectors, full cork handle with sliding alloy reel fittings and rubber at end of butt joint. The ferrules are nice and tight with no wobble and the rod itself is perfectly straight. The rod is denoted with the Marco trade mark and has the words elasticane and "Test" on the butt section.
