A Hexagonal split cane fishing rod by F. T. Williams. Walton On Thames. The "DORSET" Model. Condition appears to be superb and the quality of the rod is magnificent and it is clearly very old . It comes together with it's carrying case/bag which is in separate sections, and the overall measurement of the whole rod is 129" or 10' 9" and is in three separate sections. The cork handle is 17:1/2" long and the handle section has one line guide. The middle section has three line guides and the end section has five line guides.
The "Sire" - a split cane rod by F T Williams. Dated from around 1960, professionally restored three years ago and never used since! It has been restored to its original coloured livery and original pattern rings, is 12ft long, comes in three sections ( no cut downs ) and is straight as a die. It has black whipping with black intermediate ties, reinforced ferrules ( no rocking or wobbles ) and the logo is 100% intact. Comes with cloth bag ( not the original )
